NASHVILLE - Tennesseans could be ticketed if caught sending a text message while driving under legislation approved by a state Senate committee Wednesday.
While no member of the Senate Transportation Committee voted against the measure, some voiced misgivings. It received five yes votes, the bare minimum needed for approval, while the other four members abstained.
